Monogram Bridal Shower

Last month, I was lucky enough to host a monogram shower with 15 other women in Atlanta, Georgia.  The bride is an incredibly chic friend of mine who is getting married on Sea Island.  I can't wait to experience her wedding day.  I know it is going to be magical.
It is a tough task to throw a party for someone super stylish because you want to make sure everything is up to their standards.  I'm really glad that we chose a monogram theme because we were able to personalize so many elements of the party and it made it feel very special.

We used custom chair tags to let each guest know where to sit. All of the paper goods were purchased at Paper Source.
We also placed personalized straws with flags at each woman's seat which served as a little drink tag. The pink striped straws and flag template are from www.thesugardiva.com

We used a clothesline to display a few monogram gifts for the bride. The clotheline did double duty because it added to the monogram theme decor.

Explanation of the Title

I LOVE being happy, don't you? There isn't any better feeling in the world.  Let me take a moment and explain the name of this site.  My wish is to compile an ongoing list of all things that bring me joy.  One of the things that makes me the most happy is my extremely preppy husband (HB).  As a fun-loving, California girl, I didn't understand the pleasure of traditional tastes until I met him.  He continues to inspire me with his commitment to quality and love of pastels!  Now, pink is my favorite color.  It embodies femininity, lightheartedness and fun. Finally, it probably would have been more accurate to my writing style to use an “!” at the end of the phrase, but I just love the simplicity of the period, so I chose it, period.
